Listen Using Online Playa
EASIEST WAY! Use our ONLINE PLAYA and easily listen (if you have Flash, RealPlayer or Windows Media Player installed). This is the easiest way for you to interact with the hosts and know which artist/show is currently playing. Click here to use the ONLINE PLAYA!

Listen on a Cell Phone
1. Download an free internet radio app for your Smartphone.
- iPhone: Download FStream (free!)
- Android: XiiaLive Lite (free!) (how to add stream video)
2. Once you have downloaded the application, simply bookmark one of these links to listen on your smart phone app:

Listen using Winamp on a PC
Winamp is the recommended program used to listen to the detour. Winamp comes packed with features, and is simple, and to the point. Unlike RealPlayer, there is no hidden advertising. With Winamp, you get straight to the point… music! It can also be used to burn CDs, do magical things to your musical collection, and watch DVDs or downloaded video. 1. Go to the playlist window (where all of the music files that you are playing are stored.
2. Click on Add, then Add URL.
3. Copy/paste this URL into the box: http://thedetour.us/player/itunes-high.pls
4. Double click on the link within the playlist window, and start listening to the music!
Listen using iTunes on a Apple product or PC
To listen in iTunes:
1. Click on "Radio" in the top, left hand corner.
2. Click on one of the following genres to listen to a particular station.:
detour MUSIC: Listed under College/University Radio and Eclectic
detour TALK: Listed under News/Talk Radio
detour BLUES: Listed under Blues
iTunes can be used on both Macintosh or Windows computers. It is useful for managing music libraries, purchasing legal music, downloading podcasts, and listening to online internet radio.

Listen using RealPlayer on a PC
To listen with RealPlayer,

4. Press open, and if all is well, then the music should start automatically.

Listen using Quicktime on an Apple product or PC
QuickTime can be used on both Macintosh or Windows computers.

Windows Media Player comes installed on computer which run Microsoft Windows.

Or, if that doesn’t work, then:
1. Go to "File," then "Open URL."
2. Type in http://thedetour.us/player/wm-low.asx to listen to the detour.
3. Press open, if all goes well, you should be able to listen!
While using Windows Media Player to listen, you will not be able to get updates as to what song is playing. If you are wondering what song is on, then try using Winamp or the online playa
