  There is a new "Forensic Tool" that is making a lot of fans with the anti-privacy movement.  DNA databases can now keep records of FAMILY genetic patterns.  Even though these labs may not be able to identify the actual perpetrator of a crime, they may be able to identify a bloodline based on DNA already obtained.  The entire family then becomes suspect until they have all been tested.  Further, the people pushing this "methodology" intend to use this "shotgun" technique to harass the suspect family until they turn over the "Real Perp".
  There are so many unethical, totalitarian invasions of privacy and bypasses in justice in this one idea that I could write fifteen books on it nonstop.  More on this when I have more time...
