One Time Underwriting Spots

If you've got a special event that you'd like to promote on the detour, than purchasing a one time spot on any detour station (detour MUSIC or detour TALK) is a good idea. You will not only help an independent, community radio station..but also get promotion for your event.

*Underwriting differs from advertising with a commercial radio station. the detour adheres to underwriting rules and regulations set by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission.) the detour does not make quantitative or qualitative statements or make calls to action. the detour promotes slogans, locations and neutral descriptions of products or services.

How does it work?

Underwriting spots are available around the top of every hour. If there is not currently an underwriting spot purchased for a particular hour, than one time spots are available for purchase.

How much is it

 

Weekdays (Monday-Friday - eastern USA time)

8am-5pm: $1.25 per spot
5pm-11pm: $0.75 per spot
11pm-8am: $0.50 per spot

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) - eastern USA time)

8am-11pm: $0.75 per spot
11pm-8am: $0.50 per spot

 

No minimum! We will be glad to record and dry read your underwriting spot (provided you provide us with a script). REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! You are donating to the detour, and in return we are thanking you/your organization over the air. (Some spots may be dry read over the air). Payments must be made through PayPal.
